It's a perfect 72° F here in Los Angeles -- an unusual, but nice surprise due to the partly cloudy skies!

Still, you people shouldn't be complaining, because since Southern California is really just a sun-baked desert -- which only stays superficially green and vibrant by criminally draining every conceivable source of water within 500 miles -- we'll easily be hitting 105° - 110° temperatures on a daily basis by early July.

But hey, at least it's not Arizona; in Phoenix and Tucson candles melt indoors, pets must be kept inside or on the lawn since the asphault and concrete become so hot they can cause serious burns on their paws (I'm not joking), and windshield by the thousands crack and shatter if left parked in direct sunlight for too long.

It was 99F(37.2C) on Friday when I went to work, so with about 80% humidity that's 153F (67.2C) for the heat index.

Good old Louisiana.
