Most of them do, and most of them can also burn DVD's as well as CD-R and CD-RW's

well i thought i already knew the answer but i didnt know for sure, and i didnt know which drive i would have to replace in my system...and frankly, i still dont know what one to take out...the DVD player or the CD burner?

Well if you're going to take one out; I would say take the DVD player out because your new DVD burner will be able to play DVDs..

yes they do...but i think only at 16x speed :unsure: (my dvd burner burns dvd´s at 4x and cd´s at 16x)

i would take the cdr writer out,so you can copy dvd on the fly,the dvd writer will also burn cdr :thumbs:[/b][/quote]
There is one caveat with this. My version of CloneCD will not burn a CD in my Sony DVD-R. :WTF: It works fine with my Plextor CD-R :thumbs: , just not the new DVD-R. :drink: Other CD Burning packages, :oooo: Nero :oooo: , have no problems with the DCD-R and burning CDs. :wootrock:
