Controls and Button Configurations...

Okay, so, would anyone mind posting some of their keyboard/mouse button configs? Aside from an unending string of suicides (and of course general suckiness) a lot of my deaths are due to the fact that I cannot switch weapons either fast enough or (in most instances) cycle past them when I panic.

Right now my basic controls are: KEYBOARD/MOUSE:
Forward/Backward/Strafe Left/Strafe Right - Arrow Keys
Jump - Right Shift
Crouch - /
Right Mouse Button - USE/Sniper zoom
Cycle Weapons - Mouse wheel
So, if anyone could share their config it would be very helpful... :lol:
Seriously, please, I need all the help I can get.

Thats about it, i dont use croch all that often except for hard jumps.

That's all I use. Keep in mind that I always play shotgun only though.

Me too. But why do you need a button for grenades? They're useless (unless you're a spammer).

With using the arrow keys for movement, why not map your num pad keys to your weapons.

This way you only have to list one finger to change and not your hand. Choose the weapon you want for anytime during a battle.

I have seen your screens, and have played the ones you are playing against, you do well enough in a game, you only need to refine your technique.

i can aim grenades so i shot one off every once in s while :cool:

Before I retired(I&#39;m back now) I coudl accurately aim and hit someone far away from me with just one grenade, can&#39;t do that anymore hehe lol.

Are u sure about spamming.
Just one right on target when they are hiding with the snpr.

An Atari joystick?&#33; My God&#33; When SS:FE came out I played the entire game with a Logitech Wingman Pro ForceFeedback since I had always avoided playing games with the keyboard (up to that point). Now, I&#39;m kicking myself (since the stress of beating that game on Serious nearly killed me) since the keyboard and mouse are so much better&#33;

HOW DO YOU DISABLE THE CHAINSAW??? I thought that wasn&#39;t possible&#33;

Mouse Sensitivity = 66%

Up = Forward
Down = Strafe Left
Left = Backward
Right = Strafe Right
Right Ctrl = Jump
Right Shift = Crouch

Num 0 = 3rd Person on/off
Num 1 = Shotgun
Num 4 = Rocket/Grenade
Mouse Wheel = Weapons

Mouse Button 1 = Fire
Mouse Button 2 = Sniper Zoom
Mouse Button 3 = Knife/Chainsaw

im left handed too&#33;&#33;
but I dont use WADS
What i do is move my keyboard 8 inches to the left so half of it is leaning over the table-thing so i can use the arrow keys because they are perfectly alighned unlike the WADS buttons
As you will notice, the W is 1/2 inch to the left of the D button whihc makes using them more tedious

Cant remember the rest......I use shotty 90% of the time so........
