Due to the amount of fake accounts and accounts registered by already banned people, the council has voted that we will no longer accept forum registrations opened using free email accounts like Yahoo and Hotmail. All new members that register at GameMecca will have to provide a vaild ISP email account to register from now on.

At this time, this WILL NOT effect currently registered members, but I advise you to change your email address to an ISP one, as a forum upgrade will happen sometime in July and we cannot guarantee that it will still work after that. To change your email address, click on the My Controls link at the top of the page and then click the "Change Email Address" link at the left of the page. If you have any problems, contact an admin and we can change it for you too.

Sorry for the inconvenience to members that have to take the time to change their email, but in the end, we feel that this will help weed out the troublemakers and allow GM to do what its meant to...have fun talking about games.

Thanks,

- GM Admins and Council

ISP = Internet Service Provider, the service you use to connect to the internet is your ISP. Just use the email address they (Your ISP) gives you and you are fine.

Everyone HAS an ISP e-mail, ask your dad who your internet provider is what the e-mail adress that you registered with the ISP is. What does your e-mail adress end in? (e.g. @verizon.net, @aol.com)

I like the feature when you hover over the topic it displays the first post without having to click on it! That is tight because so many times I click on topic titles thinking one thing and they just turn out to be spam or crap I am not interested in.

Okay, so, my account transfered over successfully and stuff. So, that means I can keep my current e-mail account, right?

It sucks that SAL's register date says Jul 2004 when in reality he was member number 1 here. :\
