intel is releasing a new processor series, but they are not changing the
numbering system. the amd 64 is going to be your best bet. intel
will be adding support to the exact same instructions at some point
in the future. i'd wait a few months, even though you have money burning
a hole in your pocket.

oh there is no way that i am gonna get a friggen intel...

there is no p5 yet.


the p5 will be built around the p3m chip.

thats what we found out...the model # for the mobo had a"p5" in it so we thought that it had a p5 proc too :rolleyes:
