How far does it work?

it should cover a house and the yard well. if you live in a trailer park,
it will get most of the neighborhood too... :thumbs:

I have wireless B and I could go to my neighbors house 100' away from the access point and still download at 500 kb per second.
Placement of the access point or router makes all the difference. You can also get signal boosters if neccesary.

I hate wireless. The Dlink I have if you move 10 feet away it drops down a bar, forget going downstairs.

@Slice....I have the Dlink 802.11B access point and have no problems upstairs, downstairs or outside. If the access point is downstairs in the bottom right end and I am upstairs in the top left end then the connection drops to 50%, but for surfing the web it doesn't present a problem.

Outdoors: Up to 1312 ft (400 meters)
