From the herald:

- If you are of a higher realm rank/level than the player you killed, you now receive fewer realm points than you would if you killed a player with an equal or higher realm rank/level. Note that this adjustment works on a sliding scale. For example: A realm rank 9 player killing a realm rank 2 player will make considerably fewer realm points than when killing a realm rank 8 player.

With the advent of the realm war map fight locator, greatly enhanced transportation functions, and concentrated activity around keeps (with greater bonuses than ever before), realm points are far easier to get. It makes more sense to grant the greatest reward for the more challenging fights.

So they increased the ability to earn realm points (ie. the warmap) then docked the folks that already have them. :WTF: Punishing the power players...

 So then what are the rewards exactly if being a high RR? Ok so if Nimblejack goes out solo RvRing....he's gonna basically get the shaft because he'd have to hope to bump into other same RR sneaks as him which is far and few between....just kind of dumb

They are just trying to extend the end game. Now that everyone is focused on NF, everyon is getting more RPs. Mythic doesn't want to see everyone get to RR9 in the next few months. So they stretched out the road to the higher realm ranks even further than before.

100 albs fighting 100 Hibs does not = a lot of realm points. Half the people I kill out there are not worth any becuase they have been killed recently. :bandhead:

This sounds like a knee jerk reaction to some stats someone brought up in a daily meeting.
