as most know, when amd released the first athlon board (slot a), motherboard vendors were threatened to not put out a motherboard to support it. asus did it anyway ut uses a white box no name board. to say the least, it was pretty good and rocked the p3 world as amd took a lead in performance. it took many months before anyone really saw many slot a boards.
i am impressed with asus aftr reading this article and the one at the bootom of the page. finally someone standing up to the chip giant.
