This is another custom map, for the First Encounter. It may look small, but it will keep you busy for a while.

This first shot shows what it looks like upon starting the map.

This is a couple minutes later. The pistol is still the only good weapon I have. Yeah right! A pistol against a Bio-Mech Major?

Unfortunately, because I killed myself I respawned at the beginning of the map and going back to just a knife and pistol. :bandhead: :bawling:

After I blasted the door at the other end of the arena. A portal. However it does not take you anywhere until you finish this area off completely (not including the secret areas).

Another secret, only this time they laid a trap.....

LOL don't worry, I am not dead in this shot. I am just moving on to the next part of the map, which is a more like a Co-op map than the first part. To get there, just let Sam slide down this long tunnel and then pick up the Laser Cannon. Note: if you kill yourself after this point, you will have to ride down this chute again. And it takes several minutes, so be patient with it.
