Messenger Pop ups

Yall ever had those messages sent to you using the command black window from somewhere on your network. kids at my school mess around with it all the time

anyway, i'm starting to get spam through this. it may be because i brought my computer to my uncles fiber optic hooked up house in Ashland, Oregon. But maybe this is happenin with all connections.

check this out, i got one while i was typing this up.

any had the same problem or know what i could do about it? :unsure:

I think everyone gets that.. It's GM's income... If you change the skin, you can avoid that advertisement.

well i figured out pretty fast.

i hadn't updated XP since the day i bought it, 2 years ago.

what shocked me the most was the updates stopped the problem. i thought microsoft just updated so they can play the Big Brother role even better.

so if yall got the same problem, just update. was only like 18 mbs :thumbs:

right click on my computer icon------cllick on manage-----goto sevices-----look for messenger service and disable and stop it.
