This really is a nice game. Single player is pretty entertaining in itself, so don't let the "so so" multi-player mode keep you from buying it.

The MP is such a joke. No way this will be replacing UT2K4. Doom 3 has a shot tho.

:rofl: might be a long wait for you, because they are planning to release an SP demo after Doom 3 hits the shelves and no word on the MP demo.

Actually 4 players isn't the limit in doom 3, modders can change the amount of players on a server from 4 to 8 easily. I also think that 1v1 is prolly the most fun aspect of any multiplayer game. :)

out of the box the limit is 4.
they say a lan is required for more than 8 and dialup is completely out.
this will not be a replacement for any MP game....
review will come once i get my hands on it....

1v1 is about as fun as having cavities filled
