Go into your usercp and click on Edit Options. The very last option shows you what kind of toolbar you use when responding to a post. Click the standard or WYSIWYG option and see if that works.

In one of my posts i had to remove my :wootrock: smiley because I got an error that I posted too many images :-/ (there were no attachments in the post). After I removed the smiley then it allowed me to post

Edit by Aries: Afterthought....on second thought...I was quoting a post with the same wootrock smiley in so perhaps that's why I couldn't add another smiley to the 'same' post :unsure:
