Heh, take a look at the daredevil score I got on this one. I was just in the process of going up a steep hill when I got caught in the blast of a tank on my own team.
Then while in the air, I was getting shot at by an enemy Raptor. Heh.

Lucky for me, the guy was a bad shot, and only hit me a few times.

Yes and no. At the end of the matches, there is a box of 'special awards' that lists the stuff like Double kills, mega kills, wicked sicks, flak monkey's and so forth. One of them will be the combined Daredevil points you earned.

It doesn't so much contribute to your score, but it makes you feel much cooler when you lose. :D
