Yeah, it's like that expression "Second place is the first loser".

Personally I think Hold 'Em sucks though. When I play with my friends now all we play is Hold 'Em, despite my pleas to play other games, or at least make it dealer's choice. Most of them forgot how to play the other poker variants that we used to play, like Criss-Cross, Follow the Queen, Baseball, Football, Cincinatti, 7 Card No Peek and Hurricane, because all they play is Hold 'Em now.
