I'm looking for some new music but could use some suggestions. Something in the realm of Weezer/Foo Fighters/311/Beatles. Any suggestions? They don't have to be well known.

I'll take one word band names with 5 or fewer letters, Alex. ;) I like the Newsboys. But then I also like Salsa (no pun intended), Jazz, Latin, Blue, ....Rap, R&B. You name it, I like it....'cept for country. Cry me a river already!

Nickelback, The Long Road

Maroon5 , Songs about Jane

Switchfoot, The Beautiful Letdown

The Cure, Galore The Singles (nice album to have in collection)

Moby, Play (nice to throw in a few songs of his for a mix cd to break things up)

Modest Mouse, Good News For People Who Love Bad News

Sal you should definately download iTunes man, it is free and they send you an email every Tuesday on all the latest artists and albums and you can listen to all the songs on the album unlike other services. Oh and the other cool thing is you can buy the songs for .99 cents if you don't want to buy the whole album.

ooooo and one album I purchased which I love is The very best of Sting and the Police. I play it all the time and mix his songs in all the time. I still get goosebumps from some of his older stuff when I hear it.

If in the realm of 311 then why not stay in that same realm.
Their newest album (unless you already have it) has some really kickass tracks and a nice mix of the hardcore and the more reggae-ish tracks.
But i tend to like the more hardcore stuff more.

i fully agree mr. slice. I have never used a music program as useful as itunes. If i want to buy a cd, but dont know if its good or not, i listen to the 30 second clips they have of all the songs on the cd, and the layout/ripping/everything else in the program is awesome. :)
