To test, hit Ctrl+Atl+Tilde to open the console.
Now enter 'timedemo demo1'

Just for giggles, how about y'all runing this little ole test and post your results along with your system specs. If you run it twice the second one will be faster by just a little bit

My results
medium quality at 1024x768 16.3 fps
High quality at 800x600 21.0 fps
Low quality at 640 x480 25.5fps

Even though it's a little sluggish the graphics at medium quality, 1024x758 was amazing.

21.5 fps with AA at 4x, 1024x768 high quality

Pentium 4 3.0ghz, Nvidia 5900 ultra 256,

Don't know the other ones yet because this setting is awesome using AA 4x. There are no jagged lines at all and no frame clipping.

Wow, AA kills your FPS. At least on nVidea cards maybe? With that system I would have thought you'd be getting better rates. I guess I need to rerun a test at your settings to see what AA does to my fps.

And please, no nVidea vs. ATI wars! I've had both and always go with whichever I think is best when it's time to upgrade.

pre 6800 nvidia cards arent so great when AA gets turned up.
