We just got back tonight, had a great time running around town, and spending some time with $pike, Shogun, and Chico. Had dinner with $pike and Shogun Tuesday:

Went to $pike's house for a fish fry on Thursday (that's my wife with Shogun's & Spike's Mom in the background).

Had dinner with Chico and Shogun on Friday. That's Chico on the left, me in the middle and Shogun on the right.

Went to Cross Lake earlier in the week.

My wife rescued a puppy from the pouring rain......my response....honey, get that dog out of the car, before he does something. :)

Went to the LA museum this morning and flew out this afternoon.

Saw a lot of neat stuff at the museum, here's a picture of some civil war memoralbilia <Damn......I don't think I spelt that right...:D

I finally got to see an aligator close up.....I grabbed this one and threw it up onto the table....boy, was he heavy! :)

Of course, I had to bring something home from Shreveport...no not a STD...I got me a sweet potatoe pie.......Mmmmmmmm...Mmmmmm...Mmmmm!

I'm really glad I got to spend time with Mrs HPC and yourself this past week, great times and thanks so much for everything! :thumbs:

Just don't be surprised if I don't Fedex myself up there, so don't be putting any "Return to Sender" stickers on any big boxes that show up. :D

I tell you HPC and his wife are awsome people. They would fit in nice down here in da south.I wish I had known you liked sweet tater pie , There is this lady that runs oround my house and she makes some awsome pies.

HPC, glad to see that you & Shirley arrived & departed safely and had a good time in our old Shrevesport!

I'm sure that you enjoyed my mother-in-law; she is one cool lady and a joy to be around, isn't she?

Sorry that I missed the fish fry and the visiting.

It touched me that Shirley wanted to rescue a puppy while y'all were here! I'm sure he/she was happier to have met y'all!

Maybe next time I'll be in town to join in the fun!
