help blaster!

okay i need help. one of myfriend catched blaster virus i think. her pc close every 60 secs and then reboot. she see a screen asking her to save her files.... it restar abt every 60 secs but sometimes it seems to work perfectly so thats why im not sure its blaster. someone can help me pls, i would like to solve ehr problem. Os is windows xp.

there was something you should type in the run box when the shutdown notice appears. I think it was something like shutdown -a
maybe. Sal knew it and told me, maybe he knows

thats okay guys i found what i need. Yes i found this too abt the shutdown -a and its works:) I downloaded the fixblast tool and sent it to my friend. Hope she can remove the virus. thx for helping guys:)

well after the past few months of virus hell, i would only suggest mcafee's virus software 8.0. i find it to be the best and along side running spy sweeper 3.0 you will be pretty safe for the rest of the year.

mcaffee doesn't help with blaster

also i thought that virus was allready cleaned out of web sites.. hmm
btw police catched german guy who launched this viruse, now he is under arrest
