I need help from anyone that has had peircings ect..

I got my ears peirced both sides about 7 or 8 weeks ago, They put 16 guage stubs on it when I first got them peirced..I bought 14 guage earrings to put in after 6weeks was up..

Now after those 6 weeks I put the 14' guage earrings in, After maybe 4 or 5 days..My left ear lobe is way bigger than my right..and yellow gook was coming out of it..My mom said it was getting infected and that I had to take it out and let the hole grow back in then do it again..But my friend had her ear infected with the exact same earring...And she didnt have to do that..My mom said just rub it down and scrub with paroxide

If there is any other suggestions I would really appreciate it

yes, take your ear ring out and clean your lobe (and the ear ring) with peroxide, you might as well clean your other ear too while you are at it.........and might I add: don't pierce anything else....thank you

I have stretched mine to 12 gauge, all but 2. The last time I did it, they hurt for about a week. They reopened back up and needed to heal. I'd leave the earing in, but clean it with some cleaner that you got when you got pierced. I cleaned mine everyday when I first got em pierced, then after that once a week or so. Even the 2 that I did myself. :) Oh I have 6 of em btw

Yes, amputate with a butcher knife or sawzal, then cortorize with a blow torch! :D that'll fix it fo sure ;)

Hmm.. I think one earring is cool, but 2 is a little bit too much. Unless it's all on one ear or your a biker. :P

i think earings are for girls, but yea peroxide helps disinfect that, it might feel funny and it fizzes when it makes contact with the infected area

dunno what you are looking for. hydrogen peroxide, neosporin, go to the doctor, get some antibiotics, etc. or get some of those big tube things and push them into the hole. it will hurt for a few days, but you will look sooo cool! :thumbs:

I used to Pierce.
DO NOT I Repeat DO NOT take the ring out. At 14g the hole will close. First off is it Surgical Stainless Steel? When you put the new rings in was the Jewerly Sterile. If not that is why you have an infection.

I need to know is the skin around the hole growing onto the ring. (it looks like a mushrum of sorts)
If it is remove the jewerly and let the infection clear and let the hole close.

If the jewerly was not sterile. (Ie autoclaved) Did you wash your hands before you put the the jewerly in?

All this does not matter now.
Here is what you need to do.
STOP TOUCHING THE RING!!!!
Your hands are dirty and do carry germs. You will infect the area by doing that.

What you need to do now is as follows.
#1 go to the store and buy a bottle of Bactine. (comes in a green and white bottle)
#2 Squeeze all the crap you can out of the earing. (do this once a day)
#3 After you squeeze out the goo use the Bactine on a Q-tip to clean the ring and the entire area.
#4 Do this 5 to 6 times a day for 2 weeks. If the infection is still there go to a doctor and get some meds for the infection.

If all goes well your infection will clear.
DO NOT CHANGE JEWERLY FOR 6 MONTHS!!!
It takes that log to fully heal.
Remember WASH YOUR HANDS EVERY SINGLE TIME YOU TOUCH THE AREA!!!
Oh I forgot don't use Peroxide. It will dry your skin. You don't want that. See Mushroom effect above.

Any drug store will have it.
Squeeze the puss out.
If it hurts too much don't squeeze it.

Actually what Iwound up doing was investing a hunk of change into a current one. Basically a silent partner. It gives me the option to look into other things.
