Gamemecca (Associated Press) - In a truely shocking scene this weekend, a "man" was found dead from an apparent knife wound to his back. The victim, Dark Leviathan (29), was found Saturday morning in the Admin forum with a note from his attacker.
"I left him in charge nearly two years ago and he has turned from a man who enjoyed war and prey, to metrosexual who is only interested in AM talk radio and decorating." - read part of the note from the alleged murderer.
In the past weeks, rumors were flying that the openly flamboyant Dark Leviathan, or Lev, as his one friend called him, would be kicked from MERC and possibly even stripped of his admin status at the online gaming site.
"He hadn't played a game in well over a year and the admin log showed him performing two actions in his entire admin career." said admin SALvation, "Keeping him in MERC and as a GM admin was really just a running joke between the rest of us. Personally, I won't miss him."
Dark Leviathan was pronounced dead at 11:45AM Saturday morning. Nurses reported that his last words were tough to decipher through the pints of blood pouring from his wounds, but think that he was complaining about the bland decor of the operating room.
The only clues to Lev's murderer is a strange green message which simply said "Backstabbed". Police are not actively looking for his killer since Lev is not expected to be missed. As for GameMecca, the remaining four admins plan to immediately forget the plague that was known as Lev.
His killing saved us from banning him. Good riddence.
