Earth Wiz or Earth theurgy

Hey everyone,

I have been leveling a earth wiz to help me farm with my minst and sallie pet. Looking at the char builder I see at level 44 I get a 4 dps damage shield (compared to my necro which has a 21 dps damage shield.) I am wondering whether I would be better off making a Theurgy for the pulsing bt. Any thoughts on whether to continue with earth wiz or go with theurgy?

I am almost certain that anyone in the group inc pets gets the pbt. If I am mistaken please correct me.

Nope minst pets get PBT same with Neccie pets that's why servant Neccies have to avoid Earth theurgs like hell if fighting high level mobs :p:

I heard damage shield is better, because it does the damage each time your pet gets hit. If you are fighting a high level mob you pet misses a lot of the time so attacking faster doesnt benefit as much as doing damage everytime your pets gets hit.

well at rr5 I will be charming level 60 mobs. I am just bummed about 4dps for spec. Thats nuts. I am going to level a theurg and finish my wizzy and see which is better. Thanks for all the input.
