Well I DL it and the first thing I disslike is the fact it is very dark. The graphics are nice but it seems to be the same thing over and over just a different room. Also it locks up after about 10 - 15 min in the game It could be the demo or my rig wont even bother
looking into it. Thanks for the linkage

as i said in another thread, play the 3 levels 9 times each, and you have experienced the entire game and saved a lot of money. :thumbs:

quake 4, coming out next year, looks to be much more interesting.

Is Quake IV coming out next year already? Isn't it a sequal to Quake II story line or am I wrong and is there any screenies of it yet?

Quake IV is a direct sequel to Quake II.

I always liked Quake better anyways. I think this will be the last Doom game produced if they were smart.

I don't know what their deal was with id & doom 3. it was pretty much like they wrote a program to make random levels and include open spaces to insert huge machines. at to that they followed the unoriginal script from the originals, go to x, find y, click z. And that was the damn game. like the ONLY creativity in the game was the hell level and maybe the caverns at the end. This was basically the same game with only updated graphics.

so you got the full verion then. Am still up in the air if I am going to buy it. From the looks of the poll I started not to many here @ GM are very interessed. I will say when
my demo server was up there was anywere from 12 -24 peps playing all day and night

Your server runs excellent because me and Bigg's was playing on it and we had a ball.

I am going to hold back before i purchase it until i see more of the GM guys decide to buy it. The thing is there are so many other games I been looking into that may help DOA come back to life. LOL
