No, actually, I can relate with him. Put me in front of a crowd or a bunch of cameras and I clam up and sound like a retard too. Give me time to type out my thoughts or talk casually and I can actually sound intelligent (sometimes ;)).

I understand your point. Do I wish he was a better public speaker? Yes. Would that make him a better leader? Yes. Does this mean I'm going to vote for Kerry? HECK no! While Bush may have a hard time getting the words out, it's clear what he stands for.

I typed out about 5 more paragraphs before realizing this is pretty much all I had to say. :P So I'll spare you the rest.

PS. Can you imagine if there was a website that listed all the stupid things you've ever said (even some out of context)? I know mine would be a long list. Don't think that there aren't similar lists for previous presidents (ie. Clinton, Bush Sr., Reagan, on and on and on).

I disagree. He is not only a poor speaker but he is also stupid. A lot of his statements have made up words in them. Now I don't care how bad of a speaker you are if you make up words because you don't know the correct word to say to explain yourself, that makes you stupid.

Its not a matter of just ANYBODY sayign somethig stupid.
I'm pretty ambivalent about this whole election thing, both candidates have their good and bad points, but a person who is the leader of our country needs to be able to say what he means and say it so that other people don't misinterpret him, its obvious that he might make some stupid mistakes, but is that really going to affect the economy, or the situation in Iraq.
Only time can tell so i say just quit posting stuff regarding the election and just let things go.

"some stupid mistakes" LOL, we wouldn't have a situation in Iraq if he didn't make that mistake, and yes mistakes as president can greatly affect the economy.

If you don't read, then why bother making suggestions? That gains you 0 credibility with people.

He's not clever period.
This is your opinion. I would say that he's not a lawyer type. I don't find that to be an all-bad thing.

I guess that makes the millions of people that voted for him stupid as well, eh? I am not one to toss around words like stupid. I playful play the role of grammar critique on these boards, but I have a lot of experience around mentally challenged people that can't even form a complete sentence. What do you say to a mentally unstable person when they make up a word? Do you call them stupid? No. I don't equate good speech with intelligence. <insert joke about intelligence of GM community here>

If you don't like Bush's policies, then fine. Attack his policies or his position. But if your only attack line is that he's stupid based on his speech, well, that's not going to get you very far in my book. I, for one, respect the office of the president despite who is in office. Did I agree with everything Clinton did while he was in office? No! Will I agree with Kerry on many things if he is elected President? No. Will I still respect the office? Yes. (meaning, I would not call Kerry stupid)

I could care less where I stand in your book. This is the President of Our Damn Country. Why should we be sitting here making excuses for him when we pay his God damn salary? I am so sick of the ingnorance I am done with this thread. Also he lost the majority vote by over a half of million votes, one which was mine and yet this retard gets in to office because his daddy bought his election. Also what the heck does your experience around mentally challenged people have to do with anything? Why do I even bother....
