Need Help Fast!!!

For an assignment for school I need to create an emergency startup disk. This would be easy if I still had ME, but I have XP Home and it doesn't have the create a boot disk button. I don't want an MS-DOS disk, I want the regular startup disk that will fix the boot files.

how do I write a boot.ini file? i can't find it on my system

I found a boot.ini.backup on my computer, that looked like the one in Jims link


This is what mine looked like

tried it, when i tried to boot from the disk, it didn't work
