printer advice needed

My old HP 722c is dying, so instead of dropping 50$ on ink to see if it helps, I think I'm going to replce it. Only thing is, I don't use it much so I don't want to spend a lot.

I'm looking at these, and also would like sugestions from GM

I like the multi function idea, but wonder if the ink $'s will kill me.

What will you be using it for? I have an HP 7960 and it prints photos at the same quality as film and does fine with normal printing also.

random printing only, mostly text. When I do photo work, I upload to photoworks for printing of digital prints. My printer never did a great job at photo printing.

Would be safe to say, I'll use it maybe 4 times a month.

This is what I use. Works great and exc Photos too. Ink is about 4 -7 bucks @ abcink.com. I paid 140 bucks I seen them going for
as low as 50$. if ya can find one get it. here some info

Well my son has the an epson 2000 or something like that, and I have an HP OJ ! I like them both !!

Wouldnt go with the Lex for the cost of the ink! Printers are pretty good and cheap but their ink costs are 2 high IMO!

Still think the HP's are the best printer on both counts! :thumbs:

Cant say on the Cannon's cause never have had or used one, sorry !!

Thought you might want to chk this one out if interested in a multi. ! Its got a $50 mail in rebate , so it makes it really reasonable for what this one offers !!

Ink prices dont look 2 bad for it either! :thumbs:
