Motherboard from factor

I have just read in my PC mag that there will be a new form of motherboard as well as a new form of case coming out in mid 2005. It's called BTX which stands for Balanced Technology eXtended. Has anyone heard of it and will it be a major update from the standard ATX form?

you can go to tomshardware.com and do a search to read about it, but the main features are a better component layout and improved cooling. it's probably going to take a few years to really catch on. You would need a new case. I don't know that there are currently many systems available for this...
