I have a dial up connection that connects at 46,666bps

Also find that when i enter Internet explorer the modem doesn't began talking for a couple secs

Any help




No one say get a better service

Mad I really don't know the answer but if it's only a few seconds and you have scanned for spyware then I wouldn't worry too much about it. It might be that your ISP has a built in delay in their login process. It's been so long since i've had to deal with a dialup modem but wasn't there an .ini file or script that you could make some changes to?

I really don't think it's anything to worry about though.
