Mine is slash and I like it. Less possitional based styles than Thrust.

Ajacos is Thrust and I like it
1) is Briton so I got better WS with Thrust
2) I'm a grp mins so no stealth for me: 50 instrument 44 thrust with autotrain and that give me plenty of option with very good style:

Very good back style
Very good side combo
And good anytime combo (traunquilize-wyvern fang)

3) Slash got the worse resist table in the game

What really good with slash you can get battler :(

I went slash. I didnt want to rely on positionals. you got enough to worry about already lol.

My baby minstrel (level 23 the hard way) is full instruments and he's specced in Thrust. I like it fine, but have heard debates about whether slash was better. I don't think it makes a whole hill of beans difference either way.

Drakorian is Slash .. he might be thinking of respeccing to thrust not sure

I think thrust only because more mobs seem to be weaker to that damage type than to slash.
