Has anyone played Need For Speed: Underground 2? I just noticed it listed on gamespot and wondered if it was worth it's weight.

I'm not sure...I fiddled around with the Demo a few days ago...it's hard to tell...in the free driving mode, you can't do jack...all the shops and stuff just say "if this was the real game, you could..." and there's only one track for racing...so it's hard to say...it seems like it'd be pretty fun if it was a full game, though.

It's nice. I remember back when NFSU came out your major complaint was there wasn't a free driving mode, but they fixed that and added a bunch of new parts and accessories. I guess you could call it worth it, if you got it for a christmas present.

I reccommend, if you have a console, to get Burnout 3 instead, because its frankly the best arcadey racer around by a very long way right now.

I LOVE NFSU 2 and cant play anything else until i beat it :)
Its really awezsome.
However, my only complaint is the online gameplan. Its not good at all (waiting for a patch hopefully it will be here soon)

Spike TV had a launch party show tonight. They had a bunch of drift drivers on there saying how realistic the game is, as if they are going to say different. From what they showed, the game looks to be pretty nice. I see it's going to re-air on Sat, December 4 @ 3:30 PM
