Well, currently I have IE, never tried anything else. I haven't had any problems with it but I am wondering what are other Internet Brwosers that are better? I heard Opera is pretty good.

I personally don't see what the beef with Internet Explorer is...I like it just fine. Firefox is fine and dandy, but I don't see any specific reason to switch over to it, unless you're just paranoid about supporting Bill Gates. I guess it has the pop-up blocker, but pop-ups have never really bothered me that much, and I honestly end up hating blockers when I have them, b/c I have to configure the sites that I want pop-ups for (like PMs here...)

Mozilla Firefox!

Why its good? because its open source, you can go to firefox website and download a lot of useful extensions, its legal and free because its open source:) You can set your bar the way you want it, more than windows i think. Mine never crashed till now. I recommend you to download the Tweak Network 1.0, your browser will load internet pages much faster!

can I use firefox and IE on the same machine? I would love to try firefox or Opera but I am afraid if I use it I will loose my IE and no way to go back if I dont like it.

Sure. You can use both, theres no problem. Both, opera and firefox are installed in there own directy, IE stays untouched :)
