Server Downtime Reminder [Archive]

Just a reminder in case you didn't see the announcement at the top. We are moving to a new server (same company, just better server) and the forums will be offline starting Wednesday night and lasting until probably Friday. This new server should get rid of the memory errors some people get every once in a while.

I will be updating the "forum closed" message on the boards over the next 48 hours so you can still visit GM and see where we stand. Also, I'll post the new IP there if you can't wait for your DNS to update.

Attachments will take a little bit longer to move because the folder is too large to move by FTP so I have to wait for someone from the hosting company to have the time to move it.

Everything has been moved except attachments, avatars, and images in sigs. Those will be moved over in a few days by the hosting company.

If you want to grab your avatar or sig pic from the old forums, you can access them for a couple of days here:

Currently, that board is still down, but I will reopen it on Saturday once everyone is using these new forums.

I can't reply to threads in which you quote people. It comes up with message too short even though I know it isn't.

Because I just fixed it :) I forgot to change the directory names when I moved servers. Also, the quotes should be fixed now too.

Quotes should now be working. I had to go line by line and compare our old and new files and it turned out one value regarding max characters didn't get saved. It caused a javascript syntax error which caused the errors. All set now.
