Gamefly is a service which I myself just signed up for yesterday. They are similar to Netflix, but for games. You pay a monthly fee and you can rent as many console games as you want with no due dates or shipping charges. You just add games to your list, GameFly sends them to you in the mail, and then you return them as you are done and they send you the next one on the list.
You can pay $14/month for 1 game out at a time or $21 for 2 games at a time. I'm on the 2 game plan and have Price of Persia 2 and Growlancer Generations on their way to me right now. I'll give you a full review when I have more experience but so far they get a thumbs up from me. Here is the link for 5 extra days to their free trial (normally 10 days).
