Has anyone played this game? Gamespot just published their review and rated it higher than Half-Life 2. A ton of people are agreeing with it and it is the sleeper choice to win PC game of the year above Doom 3 and HL2. Has anyone tried this game?

And I think my system may be able to play it a a fairly high quality.
lol, guess again. xbox conversion does not mean high frame rates, that happened in halo and with this game also...

nah, i think you are good. just my 5900/2400 chokes. I think it will be time to upgrade those in Feb (birthday). Still in playing the game, wow. this is a tightly scripted movie experience. I'll be doing a review on it.

Seems pretty cool, Jim, what type of FPS game should you enjoy to like this? A Quake FPS player or something like a UT fps player?

nah, this (for now) is more of a highly scripted interactive story. if you are just looking to kill lots of monsters, you are not going to like it.
