Let’s play a game of “what if …”.

Suppose Croteam was to release the new version of Sammy, it worked great with no problems, it had all the features you wanted, it provided all the fun you have had with the other versions and no one could find any faults with it.

Using just those facts alone, no other ifs, ands or buts, what would you be willing to pay?

At the most £30 pounds. Most new games cost that when released in the UK.

I checked $50 because that is really only £30 and for a game that gives me as much fun as Sam 1, I'd pay at least that!

I figured $45.....I would go fifty if it had more than 2 CTF maps.

If the game worked as smooth as UT2004 and had all the server admin functions, I don't see any reason not to pay that much. Hell, I shelled out almost $50 for Doom3 and don't even play it any more.

I checked $50.
If I were playing the "Price is Right": $39.99 is my guess for release retail.

If it had everything i know and loved from the old sam and no problems with cool features than 50 wouldn't be out of the question for me but it would have to be really kick ass.

I'd borrow it from a friend and see how it is first.
Then i'd prolly pay the "standard" 50$ for a new game.
