UT2K4 High Death Count Wins :)

Like I've said before, the only weapons I use in UT are the shield-gun, lightning gun, and sniper rifle -- and I am about 90% shield-gun. This is just because I think too many UT weapons are just plain lame, and unlike in Sam I play UT for fun only (and I find trying to kill flak and rocket toting players with the shield very fun). As it turned out, the shield-gun is actually a kickass weapon on certain maps, so while my death count is high, I still manage to win. I have no idea if these are actually worth posting, but here ya go (depending on the map, only about 2 - 4 kills are non-shield).

But, I am still a little confused about why it annoys certain people so much... if anything it makes me easier to kill...

it annoys them bcuz they dont work on movement as much as they do weapons. They forget how important dodgeing is in the game. Give me a person that knows how to move and use the shield over someone good with lg and shock any day. :thumbs:

Which one? The one that says 4 or the one that says 999? Giving you the benefit of the doubt (being semi-retarded and all) it never usually shows an accurate ping post-game. Depending on the screenie (which dictates which house I was at) it was either 24 or 32...

As far as pubs go, if you want to test your skills, try The Factory, and sometimes Vipers Den, and the .:LOB:. server if you can get the pass from {DS}

Oh! I know a l337 player I beat in Curse4 all shield. Have you ever heard of a guy named "Prowler"? Well, he's really good and was one of the Top 3 for that stats collection thing. I gotta sift through the screenies and find it...

UT stats don't = 1337ness. it's kind of like that thing they had for sam, where if you play a lot, and noobs, you can get ranked real high. Beat some players from NE, |pure|, ::LOB::, {51},(CoA). Smooth would have more, but those are some of the better tags.

Like I said, you wont see too many leet UT players in pub servers, especially ones without UT comp.
