UDP is part of a TCP suite as one may call it. It stands for User Datagram Protocol and is used primarily in streaming media. The protocols basic function is to transfer data, but with the exception of not stopping to check if the packets are being received.
A great solution to the other way, waiting for each packet to be acknowledged and in the meantime watching a frozen picture...lol
