hey, i dont post very often, but i was rummaging through some old posts and saw there was a 2v2 ctf & DM tourney a few months ago. i would participate in a DM tourney if one was scheduled, it would be fun.

what do you guys think?

Why don't you come up with a format idea and I'll see what I can do.

What we have done in the past was elimination brackets. 16 down to 12, down to 8, then 4, then 2 to declare winner.

I took a break from running becuase the no-shows made it frustrating.

But if there was enough interest, I'd be happy to run another tourney :D

i think elimination would be an alright idea, i dont know enough about running or planning a tourney to "design" anything, really. maybe like a college "final four" deal.

Only issue with that, once again, would be player committing and showing up. One slacker screws up the whole deal.

could run a lanwar style too with a bunch of 8 player DM, top 4 advance to the bracket rounds, seading done by how you do in the first round. But we need lots of players, committed ones. ;)

well, i play on a few servers, i could advertise it...but we would have to get everything set up first.

the reason people arent committing, is because there is no real prize. i know that isnt an option, namely because if i was going to buy something for a computer, it would be for mine :thumbs: .
