Here is the big news (probably dissapointing for some of you but to bad).

The GODS have just purchased a serious server box and will be running multiple games on it. This server is on a huge fiber backbone and isn't some whimpy little crap game server like some of the ones we had in the past. The box was built with top of the line components including 2 gigs of pc3700 ram. Duel Xeon processors yada yada yada... Since I just got the server set up it I have nothing installed yet. Heck we may even through Sam on it just to test it out. I have 9 ip address with the server and as each new game goes up I will post links to them and the corresponding ip.

Here is an example of what type of server we are talking about. This was probably on the low end because the test server couldn't send the information fast enough to our box. LOL

Well, let's see... to be honest I don't know how many people are in GODS outside those I see in Sam, which I guess would bring the number of votes to about two only (or three, maybe).

It might be cool to run Sam off it for a short time like a week or two, as you said, just to test it out. That way if the server REALLY kicks ass running Sam you can revel in the satisfaction that is certain to be yours when you pull the plug on us after a week or two.

I've actually grown fond of being built way up just to be knocked down even harder -- this is mainly due a combination of the joy I experience during the building up part and my refusal to plan for or even think about the future... :D
