I really want to start to play UT properly now but I haven't really got a clue what to do.
Can someone please tell me the best servers (and how to get on them) where I can find some of you guys. :)

Hey, best servers are probably the ones with the lowest pings ;) and there are plenty of them in ut. pings below 100 are fine, around 50-60 ist great.
to find "Us" just go to the buddylist and add the clantags like
.:DwF* for all DwF players(more clantags can be found in a sticky thread in this section)
after you found a good server you can hit ESC during the game and click "add to favorite" then you can find it fast again.
A list of all DwF.ut servers, feel free to add them to your favorites ;)

Hey DH. Unreal is like any other game. Just start out slow, take things one step at a time, and have patience. You will get better. The transition from Sam to Unreal might be a difficult one (during fights in Unreal, especially with hit-scan weapons, you rarely jump and mostly strafe, which is different from Sam).
I've compiled a few links together to get you started. Try to read as much as you can.

A few suggestions - it might help for you do to these things from the get-go, rather than learn the basics without them and have to change later on. This is assuming you're talking about Unreal Tournament 2004, and not the original Unreal Tournament.
1. Bind your weapons to keys around your movement keys (assuming you're using the keyboard for movement). It helps a lot later on when you become more experienced in fighting and need to get to a weapon more quickly than using the scroll wheel will allow.
2. Lower your mouse sensitivity in-game to 1.25 for starters. Lower mouse sensitivity will require more hand movement, but will also greatly increase your ability to aim effectively.
There's lots more you can do later on, once you've gotten a feel for the game, but those two are good for starters, I think. Good luck and have fun in UT2004!!

Also, try to master the Shock Rifle and Lightning gun BEFORE Rockets and flack. Especially the combo shot with the shock rifle. The shock rifle has great range and knocks your oponent off ballance. A lot of players use the shock to set up the lightning gun kills.

It just shows how dead this section is! No screenies, no updates, challenges, tech issues.
I was considdering posting all the demo recs from the lanwar tourney that I have, but I doubt many would even care.

I could start posting screenshots of every duel I have with Jubei... :D
But that wouldn't be cool. Hell, if I had something to share that I actually thought anyone would give a **** about I'd post it!
How about I post a screenshot/demo of me losing to chu::LOB:: last night? Would that float anyone's boat? ;)
