BFG's 6800 Ultra OC is da bomb!

Well, I just got my 6800 Ultra installed today, along with a 550W power supply.
Ran 3DMark 2003 and got 6713 - my previous card, a 5900 Ultra was providing a score of 4627.

This is the last upgrade for this system:
CPU:Athlon64 FX-51
Motherboard: ASUS SK8V
RAM: 1 GB Kingston HyperX PC3200 DDR400
Hardrives: (2) Western Digital Raptors in a RAID 0
Video Card: BFG 6800 Ultra OC
PSU: Antec TRUEPOWER 550W
OS: Windows XP Pro

hmmm, strange. with a bland 5900 & amd-64 3500 (oc to 205 fsb) i can hit 6100, i would have expected you to be getting in the 10000s... the 6800 should have fully twice the rendering capacity of a 5900...

I concur. I get this feeling that there's something holding this system back....or should I say this card back.
Could be the registered memorie's timings or a setting in the bios. I'm not a full fledged geek...but boy, if I was, I'd be tearing into this sucker.
Just have to be happy that I don't smell anything burning....at the moment. :)

are you sure its 2003 with that score and not 2005? i score higher then 9500 maybe in the 10,000's with my card. even registered memory would only account for about 500 points. there is definetlt something wrong with you bios settings or maybe drivers.

anybody gets 6700 with with 3dmark05, then that is a hell of a system. i can only manage some 1030, at about 1-2 fps...

i wonder if i will be able to get it once i put the second card in. i will wait until april before i purchase it in hopes the card i have comes down in price.
