unemployment insurance..
dunno how it works in the USA but in Canada you pay UI on every pay check in your life (about 30$ a pay) so if you lose your job (not if you get fired for imcompetence or smthing or leave for no reason) you..well get reimbursed :P

I get about 80% of my salary for up to 9 months cause I aint the
one who left the job :D

my post was absorbed by another.... for budget reasons..

I was happy to oblige cause there was little chance of advancement there :)

and did I mention 9 months UI... lol

my supervisor was sorry to see me go cause it means a lot more work for him but he'll give me excellent references...

for now... My PC is king :D
