BIGG, are you currently running this? My brother downloaded it a week or so ago and installed it, but he said that there is absolutely no driver support for any of his hardware, so it wasn't really impressive to him. If you are, did you get drivers running, and if so, how?

yes i have this running and there are drivers for just about everything. this version seems more complete also. i am still learning about but once you have the drivers installed it seems pretty snappy. the 3d marks seem a little lower but i believe that to be some software not taking advantage of the 64 bit. i will say that once the companies upgrade their code to 64 bit which seems to be easier then what they went through from 16 to 32 bit, they will runn much smoother. i will also say that regardless of benchmarks, the system seems to be much more smoother.

zell, i would either set a partition special for it or just use a different drive. i do not suggest you wipe your current drive. as for the os, i think you could actually use it full time but just mess around with it and let me know if you notice anything. watch how ie runs on it and loads the pages. you will notice the snappyness in the apps.

I TOLD YOU ALREADY--YOU EVEN QUOTED ME:eek: .

you need to burn that image you downloaded (iso) to a blank cd. once it is burnt, you will boot off the cd and install it.

if you are having a problem getting the image onto cd, let us know cd burning software you have.

do not make a data cd and expect it to work by copying the file to cd which it seems that you are doing.
