Go here and download this program. Register for free and begin crunching the data SETI style. Finally, another company has acted upon the same idea SETI has been using for years. Only at least this one is a bit more down to Earth...

to be honest, i use to run seti and all but stopped a few years ago. i honestly feel they are all full of crap and if anyone of these companies wants any of my cpu cycles, they can pay me. ofcourse unless if i get cancer, they are willing tp pay for the treatments. i'm sorry to sound bitter but i just don't trust any of it.

I have to agree BIGG, I don't see any way to really verify whether or not this is legitimate.

if they made a program to crunch stuff to find a cure, you'd think the programmers of it would know the cure for it. Like one of those ads, click there to claim your $500 prize! Umm yea, ok lol click :P

I saw something like this on tv.. A program would be installed and always be using a small portion of your computer's power and with enough computers it would help run data. I think some of them are legit, but who wants a background process always running.. I think they should make a legit website and while people are on it, it is using your computer to run data.. (if that's possible).. Or a screensaver type thing that could be installed on all school computers! BUT it has to be obvious that it's legitimate.
