This LCD/TV which can be used as a PC monitor usually sells for around $1,000. The price involves a $100 rebate.
It has a 600:1 contrast and a 16ms response time. (and it would be bigger than Psi's and Slice's LCD's :D )

That would be a very nice TV but I wouldn't use it as a monitor. It's resolution is only 1280x720 and stretching that out 27" would be quite blurry. Looks good for a HTPC or TV though.

The url I posted states that 1280 X 720 is the optimum resolution. However another website is advertising it with the 1280 X 1024 optimum resolution.

I checked ViewSonic's web site, and here's what their specs said:

COMPATIBILITY: PC Compatible from VGA up to 1280x1024 non-interlaced, 1280 x 720 (preferred)

COMPUTER CONNECTOR: Analog 15-pin mini D-sub (VGA) Digital DVI
