Let me know what you all think. I use stardrop to buff up. The af is actually highter than it states. Couldn't do much about the lack of cold/heat resist and the large amount of hits. If you all think of anything I can change or I have a stat screwed up. Let me know. Otherwise this is a decent template I think. Remember Acuity turns into Piety for my and my nuke dmg is based off that. My Dex only affects heal casts times. From what I can tell my nuke is capped at 3secs.

The dex doesn't only affect heal times. Affects your ability to defend with a shield. Block calcs increase with more dex. It's the only way my avalonian paladin survives in his retired pve state.
It'll affect the rate at which you can buff yourself and others. (Time wasted otherwise... those few seconds add up to hours or days if ya think about it in the long run) And the rate at which you can heretic rez people. Faster rezzes tend to get interupted less.
It affects the starting time for your machine gun. The time between ticks may be unaffected... but let's think this out. You have 1 range cast spell, in a 1v1 against a lifetapping or stun/nuke opponent: he/she casts faster than you will. They'll get casts off BETWEEN the focus ticks. The only way to interupt them would be to keep mashing Arwan Fire spelll that you are targetting with. This will keep refreshing the spell at the highest possible cast speed. True, the damage doesn't get time to build from the focus, but your opponent has less of a chance to beat your casting. Then once you notice him/her realize that, you can leave the focus to stack as they go nuts trying to figure out a way to stop you. (usually kiting or sprinting at you to break the focus) So in closing, dex can affect your ability to interupt your opponent as well as how fast you can heal. (Try the mashing the AE fire in a keep situation to keep all the ranged opponents on the battlements interupted rather than leaving focus on 1 opponent and have it break... it's pretty cool being able to lockdown so many opponent from being able to defend)
But if you're not worried about that part and don't want to waste the time on it, sure:) Won't affect much else.

I only have 10 in Shield. Again the faster cast times do not concern me. In the gear I am in now I am at 335 dex with a spec dex buff. My goal is to survive not get the death spam. I have only once gotton into a 1v1 fight. Got jumped but I was able to snare and run off and get a couple of heals off. IMO the tic is a support class. Will I stick wit it? Not sure yet. Let me get my Arties leveled and some quality rvr time in and then I will decide. But for now considering what I want out of a template I am please with this one.
I have yet to get into a keep situation yet so I am unaware as to what I should expect. If it turns out I need more Dex then it is not a big deal to change it up a bit.

Actually using a shield is going to really help you. You didn't include one in your template. Even if you use a pc shield it will get those resists up. I know doing a heretic template is hard, like any other hybrid, but resists that low are gonna hurt. I always try to get mine over 23, but if I can't you want at least 20. You can still gimp on matter and spirit. I would gimp spirit more these days seeing as how the only thing you have to worry about is spiritmaster pbaoe, and they're all darkness spec now. The most you have to worry about for matter is warlocks, and it really doesn't matter (no pun intended) about your resists if one gets ahold of you anyway.

Crap I just noticed there was no shield in there. I will have to redo. Cyclops shield is loaded with resists. I will rework it yet again and see what happens. This is what I get for being stoned hen I did this.
Oh my spec is 50 rejuv/50 enhance/10 shield rest in crush. I went crush for the 2 anytime stun styles. They last for about 6 six which is enough to get a couple of styles off. Flex IMO is not for a Tic. U need to go 50 to get the goods which in turn u will slack hard on af buffs and dmg depending on how you spec.
RA plans do include some mob. Goal right now is DI2/purge 2(which I may wait on) MOB 3. Bleh I am rambling on. Sorry.

Whats wrong with Heretic's. You just gotta know how to play them.

I'm sure you play your class very well. I've tried there Heretic out as best that I could. It left a bitter taste in my mouth at how much it felt like a gimic toon, and do nothing to fix albion's group makeups. It's utility was quite flawed, and felt like a flavor of the month without the flavor, just some pretty graphics. Mythic tossed together some player feedback ideas, set ridiculous limitations upon then, and said 'here ya go, have fun!'

I can agree with that to a certain extent. The toon has alot of uses and is great in a group. What level did you play yours till. They are horrid till the mid 40's.

Played 2 to 50, 3 to 24. Didn't really PLAY the 50's, just pl'd em on my alb servers. I tried hard to like them, really I did. The lasso is neat, and works kinda well with a DoT caster. But taking it down to it's simplest form, the focus is too easy to break, and it's a 'hey shoot me please' effect. Placing this character in a group removes 1 of the more necessary classes.
Whatcha gonna sub out to place it into an 8man? A cleric -- Well there goes sheers, instant heals, and BLS. A caster -- just lost instant damage or greater forms of crowd control. A tank -- now there's nothing to chew the face off your enemies except some cloth wearing valewalker wannabe.
Besides when there's a fg of casters camping porters to a portable keep, there's not so much use to there heretic rez. AoE dot proc always breaks cc. It's group damage shield always breaks roots. It's neat for mass suicide/heretic rez and rush your opponents, but you aren't invincible, only somewhat entertaining. The only time I've seen them work in a supporting role, was when 1 theurgist locked down a drood with pet spam, while the heretic set a lasso on their other drood. Sure they were interupting support. Drood with pets on them ran to a bger and quickly had the pets nuked off. Bard was still keeping their opponents busy, and now with the heretic commited to what they're doing, they're somewhat down a player for the group. Drood with the lasso on it kited away from the effect and the battle... now it's actually happier because it's farther away from its opponents. Was a cool attempt at trying to put some use in the heretic... but... /sigh Maybe in a high realm rank tank group, with an AoE dotter, and using the AoE snare... they can mow down low rr opponents faster?
Any worthwhile things you've done as a heretic that would contrast my poor feelings about the new class? Really trying to find some love for em, any help would be appretiated:)

I make a great support caster backup healer. Decent Melee. My RVR times have not been alot. Still working on getting arties leveled. So I can't give you any specific info on how to play them as of yet. IMO the tic's true role in RVR besides the rez has not been explored to its fullest.
I would much rather play my Wizard but I have NO DESIRE to beg for a group and for buffs.

OK so I played an a-hole style the other day. Found some use for a heretic. A pain in the a$$ caster group kept radaring a team I was playing with on. We tossed an ML10 spymaster into our group to replace our minstrel. Most of the action this day was in Midgard between 2 keeps. So we group stealthed in the middle of the line most players were running their routes.
The radaring group came buzzing through eventually, almost completely over top of us. Reaver drops TWF, Cabbie drops AE dot, Heretic AE lassos. Reaver, Inf, Pally procede to assist train the support classes. Cabby, sorc, wizard picked off the targets closest to the outer rim of the TWF. The cleric just sheered and stunned. Heretic just held the lasso, had to recast once due to interuption. Don't think they even broke the DI we had running. Wish I woulda been video taping that. The total fight lasted approx. 60 seconds.
Pros: Wow that was funny. Entertaing use for reavers as stealth group. Plenty of caster interupts.
Limitation: Camping :/ Took about 7 minutes after we setup till we saw action. Annoying stealthers can spot ya if running through and inform their groups of your location. Group stealth can be buggy and be wasted if players stutter in place or run non stealthable pulses. The radar team caught onto it after the first pummeling and avoided us the rest of the day no matter where we setup.
