this is a 2002 micron POS. You can see the problem with the capacitors, 3 are blown and covered with brown ooze, a fourth (lower right) has just started to blow. There was a problem with a cheap electrolyte compound produced by a factory in 2000. As a result, lots of motherboards, power supplies and other units are dieing prematurely. Anyway if you suspect PSU issues, and it is out of warranty, and you pop the top off of it, and see some of this, then it is time to replace. Also note that capacitors can store a hefty charge, not advisable to poke around in there with a screwdriver....
