God of War

Has anyone tried this game yet? It pretty much came out of nowhere and people are calling it one of the best games in the PS2's lifetime. IGN just gave it a 9.8/10 and other sites are saying the game is worth buying the console for. It looks kind of like a Rygar/Castlevania type game with an M rating.

I see the commercial all the time. It looks good if you like the sword fighting combos of Devil May Cry. And who didn't?
The main character looks like the Diablo barbarian. :cool:

So far after 7 media reviews, the game is scoring a 98/100 on GameRankings. That ranks it as the #3 game of all time for any system. That may change after more reviews but is damn impressive for a game that flew under the radar. I'll have to rent it this weekend.
