How can I bannden?

I made a server called Dragon. And I had 1004 frags and 354 kills. Then this observer came and started trash talking and then i put /listplayers() and i dident see the client there and i got killed for trying to bannden the client and i wanted to bannden him but i couldent so can some one help me please.

Type I forgot kick command, but I know ban for IP, disable observers though

/addipmask("I.P.*.*"), or if that dont work, take out quotes...
/addnamemask(Name) works also, but isnt as good as ip mask

There isent a way you can go
/kickclient(#,"get out observer")
thats how i kick people and i want to kick observers

Observers go by Client #, so if you got Observer with name Client 3... Then you should try /kick "client 3"

I used to host maps with a link, alotta ppl joined server in like the first couple days, I got used to kicking... Not to mension I never turned observers on

Red Dragon, if you post like that again, it will be your last post on GameMecca. You don't know how many times your spam has crashed my IE, and then I had to edit that crap because you don't have any patience.

If you made the server, you should be able to abtain the IP address of the user that you want to ban through the logs, and I know there is a way to ban that user from your server. I don't know how, but some of the others that play the game still and have done server administration might be able to help you out with that.

Please don't spam like that again!

I am only familiar with a dedicated server in his own window.

I use serious runner to set the serverup.
there you can set how many observers you want and you can lock it with a password.

If you are in the game open the console and push the tab and enter.

gives you /loadcommands(), these are the commands that are in the command directory of sam

second screenie i use /rlist to c who is what client

third screenie i kick myself.

If you want to do a complete ban and one that stays forever,

first get the ipnumber: in the game /rnet or /networkinfo().
write it down. You can also find it in the dedicated server logfile, you have to search for it.

If you have the IP, go to the dedicated server init file.( /scripts/dedicated/yourservername/ init.ini)

open it with a editor, add AddIPmask("##.##.##.##");
