well, i can imagine that they will be going to all of the meat packing plants and examining the hands.... Like ohhhhhhh.... that's where it wound up.....

You would think someone would notice losing a finger.... unless it was added postmortem....

There's so much stuff like this, I really think there's no point in worrying - it happens more than you probably know, and you've probably ingested something gross at somepoint (although probably not a human finger).

For instance, my mom was telling me that there's an actual number of spider "parts" that peanut butter is allowed to have in it.

Oddly, if you google "spider parts"+"peanut butter" you get an endless number of "spider" recipes and crafts...
