What is the 1.50 patch?It was a patch that was supposed to fix some of the problems with Second Encounter. Croteam sent it to some of us here at GM and we tested it for about 2 months or so. They had about 5 beta versions of it. Some of it was good. More realistic missle launching and the sound was great. The lag was still there although maybe not as bad. I remember when you jumped down to a level below you, your body would disapear into it up to your waste just for a split second. There were other problems so they gave it up and kept working on Serious Sam II instead of trying to fix the old versions.

Last month I went through another round of emails with Croteam and Take-Two about Sam 2. Basically all of my emails to the devs were ignored because they are under an information embargo by Take-Two. The devs can't say a word about the game.

When I contacted Take-Two, their response was that they haven't even announced the game, so there was nothing they could tell me. All they would say is that all would be announced soon. I have no idea when that is. My guess is if we don't hear something at E3, it may be a LONG time.

Needless to say it was pretty disappointing and there is no news until Take-Two decides to officially anounce the game. That is also why the Croteam updates on their site stopped. Wish there was better news.
